AMPYR Solar Europe has announced that its development pipeline now exceeds 5 GW across key European markets, marking a major milestone in the company’s mission to accelerate the continent’s transition to net zero.
A rapidly growing platform
The milestone reflects a combination of greenfield development, strategic acquisitions and co-located battery storage across the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Italy. Over the past year the team has more than doubled the size of its secured pipeline.
This growth positions AMPYR Solar Europe among the most active independent solar developers in the region, with projects spanning every stage from early development through to operation.
What it means
At full build-out, the pipeline represents enough clean electricity to power well over a million homes and to avoid millions of tonnes of carbon emissions every year.
Reaching 5 GW is a testament to the dedication of our teams and the trust of our partners and the communities we work with across Europe.
The company expects to bring several hundred megawatts of new capacity to commercial operation over the coming 18 months.
